Terms & Conditions
By scheduling, using, or paying for any services provided by Luxe Sudz LLC, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
Luxe Sudz provides residential laundry services, including but not limited to:
- Washing
- Drying
- Folding
- Pickup and delivery
Services are performed according to standard commercial laundry practices unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Customer Responsibility & Garment Care
Customers are solely responsible for:
- Checking all pockets prior to service
- Separating delicate, specialty, or hand-wash items
- Removing items that require dry cleaning, special detergents, or special care
- Informing Luxe Sudz in advance of any items requiring special handling
Luxe Sudz is not responsible for damage resulting from:
- Items left in pockets (including but not limited to pens, electronics, cosmetics, gum, or sharp objects)
- Pre-existing damage, weak fabric, loose buttons, broken zippers, or manufacturer defects
- Shrinkage, color bleeding, fading, or normal wear and tear
- Manufacturer care label inaccuracies or failures
3. Prohibited Items
Customers must not include any of the following:
- Items contaminated with bodily fluids (excessive blood, urine, feces, vomit)
- Items contaminated with hazardous materials (oil, gasoline, solvents, pesticides, chemicals)
- Items containing mold or mildew
- Pet bedding heavily contaminated with hair, waste, or parasites
- Sharp objects, weapons, or illegal items
- Luxe Sudz reserves the right to refuse service, return items unwashed, or charge additional fees if prohibited items are discovered.
4. Liability Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Luxe Sudz’s liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to the lesser of:
- The fair market value of the item at the time of service, or $50 per load or $100 per order, whichever is less
Luxe Sudz is not liable for:
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Emotional distress
- Loss of income
- Sentimental or irreplaceable items
- Customers are strongly discouraged from sending irreplaceable or high-value items.
5. Lost or Missing Items
- Claims for missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Failure to notify within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of service as complete and satisfactory.
6. Pickup & Delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe, legal, and accessible pickup and delivery locations
Luxe Sudz is not responsible for items damaged, lost, or stolen before pickup or after delivery
If a pickup or delivery attempt fails due to customer unavailability, additional fees may apply
7. Payment Terms
- Payment is due prior to or upon service completion, unless otherwise agreed
- Luxe Sudz reserves the right to refuse service for unpaid balances
- Prices may change at any time and are not guaranteed until service is confirmed
8. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellations must be made within the posted cancellation window
- Missed pickups or no-shows may incur a fee
- Repeated no-shows may result in service termination
9. Health & Safety
Luxe Sudz reserves the right to refuse service if items present a health or safety risk to staff, equipment, or other customers.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luxe Sudz LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- Your failure to comply with these Terms
- Prohibited items
- Misrepresentation of item condition
- Third-party claims related to your laundry
11. No Warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Luxe Sudz disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Modifications
Luxe Sudz may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
15. Acceptance
By using Luxe Sudz services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
